Confession of Pride
The clean return that proves nothing
Confession of Pride asks Przemyśl's officers to name contempt before a confessor. Purity receives candid intelligence from men still able to examine themselves; the most compromised sincerely confess nothing.
Codex Ref. XIII.1.95-201
Humility Practices
A basin can be countersigned; a conscience cannot
Purity sends officers above captain to wash feet, serve meals and labour beneath their station each quarter. The register certifies the task; it cannot certify humility.
