Return to Blank Saints
Cairnfield Terrace
Every stone is blessed; every search is referred upward
The sixth district of the Reliquary Switchbacks: a Carpathian memorial field kept by the Cairn Wardens, with contraband beneath its stones and Blank Saints behind them. Every cairn is blessed. Every search is referred upward.
Codex Ref. II.3.05-006
Hanging Mile
One mile of iron, seven keys, and a thousand feet of consequence
The seventh district of the Reliquary Switchbacks: a mile of iron, three feet wide, above a thousand-foot drop. Bronn holds seven keys; the Quiet Turn sells passage beneath the deck. The Bureau certifies the corridor, and the wind examines the traveller.
Codex Ref. II.3.05-007
Name-Drift
The mountain supplies the names; the Registry supplies the tolls
On the Reliquary Switchbacks, storms speak martyr-names absent from the ledger. The Registry supplies records, femurs and tolls; those who repeat the names may receive summonses for crimes they never committed.
