Innovation Annex
Three seals before flame. Two keys after failure.
San Vesta's summit laboratory permits physicians, bakers and kiln-masters to experiment under three seals. Acceptable failures receive ceramic covers, two keys and a vocabulary carefully emptied of blame.
Codex Ref. VII.1.03-004
Las Cadenas
Bread and incense inbound. Wounded outbound. The dependency renews itself.
An Iberian trench bastion dependent on San Vesta for ash-bread and incense, sending its wounded back to the priory. The supply order renews perpetually; the patients repay their cures in labour.
Codex Ref. II.4.09-1576
Oven Quartermastery
The token proves you exist. The debt survives its loss.
San Vesta's Oven Quartermastery controls flour, coal and the tokens that entitle a name to bread. Ashweight feeds the priory's labour debt and its military standing order; with the convoy late, he has sealed the gates and begun the count.
