Adept-Master Corvin Rault argued for Lyon's single temporal standard and received the Monolith's design credit. His death in A.S. 146 left a restricted notebook, an unclaimed ring, and a classification in place of an explanation.

Adjunct Ilse Quill keeps the Permit Directorate's hidden master ledger. The public books record compliance; her book records what waiting was sold for. The ledger remains withheld, and her biography is no better supplied.

Ira of the Second Bell carries the Unstruck's messages from the Barricade Maze to the Witness Rental Houses, with chalk chips in her mouth. Purity searches her papers; the record holds neither recipients nor contents.

Lint counts patrol intervals by tooth-tap for the Unstruck beneath the Queue Road. Purity has arrested him twice and never caught him; the second arrest preceded its listed offence by three hours. The Ledger retains both halves.

Beneath Latchford's boards, the Minute Market sells the interval before ruin lands: forged windows, stolen bell-marks, and mercy priced by the breath.

The Null Verge Custodians' tag carts remove bodies from the Queue Road. In autumn A.S. 200, Gate Nine closed for sanitation and the dead exceeded their capacity. The count required correction; the tags required no ink.
